It Starts with Scouts!

Welcome to all returning and new scouters to another fun-filled year of Scouting. The leadership team has been busy putting together lots of exciting activities for the next few months and it all starts sooner than later!

Watch for weekly update emails outlining upcoming programs and events.

Just a reminder for parents of all new youth members that the Scouting uniform has changed this year. To see the new uniforms and pricing please check under the forms tab or click here to download the PDF.

Reminder that we ask all Scouters to only purchase the Section specific Shirt for Cubs and Scouts; Beavers need to purchase the Beaver Vest. Pants can be purchased through Scout Shop as well or any other similar material in the same color can be used. All badges and Neckers will be provided by the group in the next few weeks.

Scouting places youth into different groups based on age categories and has different themes based around them:

  • Beavers (5-7yrs): The youngest of the groups, these 'Beavers' belong to a Colony where they learn about sharing. Based on the 'Friends of the Forest' Theme
  • Cubs (8-10yrs): 'Cubs' belong to a Pack; these young Wolves learn more about respect and building their competitive edge. Based on 'The Jungle Book' Theme.
  • Scouts (11-13yrs): These young adults belong to a troop; where they further develop their leadership and competitive edge.
